2 in 1 Sling bag

Another 2 in 1 project, a sling backpack with the option to use it either left or right and that can also be used as a traditional backpack, just by changing the position of the strap.

The original idea was much simpler, I just wanted to try making a sling backpack with just one outer pocket, but as always, once I started I kept adding details.

It can be made in other sizes, with more or less pockets and the front panel can be unique, a good part of the work involved in the construction of this backpack is due to the front pocket having several parts, if this is replaced by a single piece of fabric it considerably shortens the construction time.

As usual I reused materials I already had, the only thing new was the stabilizer, everything else was reused, the zips and hardware were taken from a bag, the denim and lining fabric were previously pants.

29 cm high, 16 cm wide, 7 cm deep.

Minimum strap length: 60 cm

Maximum strap length: 110 cm

Zipped pocket -16 cm wide, 10 cm high

Pocket with velcro closure - 16 cm wide, 15 cm high

Interior tablet / ereader pocket - 16 cm wide, 20 cm high
