How to make a wall organizer

When I set up my sewing room, I placed a pegboard on the wall to store the most used tools while keeping them at hand. This worked for a while, but as expected, over time I acquired more tools and the space began to be scarce. Furthermore, to get to the tools that were at the top of the board I had to get up, and if that wasn't a problem before, now that I have to keep my foot up, it is. So I decided to make an organizer to fill the wall space between the table and the board.

My sewing table became small when I bought the overlock machine, I had to constantly move things around, this already happened when I needed to cut fabrics and had to take the sewing machine out, but lately it got a lot worse, also I had nowhere to put things except on the floor.

Making a storage box to size

To end the series of posts related to cardboard boxes, I'll share how I made the boxes to fit on the shelving unit. Just as the unit had to have specific measurements to fit the space that was available, the boxes also had to have the right measurements to fit on the shelves and make good use of the space.

When I made the boxes to put on the shelving unit, I also made some storage trays, they are a practical option for storage, made of cardboard and can be made in any size.

Kitchen organizers

The kitchen is one of those rooms where there are always problems of lack of space and organization, luckily I don't lack space, partly because I designed my kitchen, everything was thought out in detail and according to what I needed.

But when it comes to organization, there is no such thing as too much, that's why I made drawer organizers for frying pans and pan lids, because when the lids are all piled up inside a drawer, the one you needs is always the one at the bottom. It was to put an end to that that I decided to make some organizers.

Organization with boxes

Another simple idea to put into practice in several rooms of the house, organization using reused cardboard boxes. 

I am one of those people who thinks that everything has a place and I like things organized, and one of the great allies of organization is the use of boxes, it is not by chance that the storage sections in stores have a huge variety of boxes, in different shapes, sizes and materials.  

Jewelry organizer

When I started making jewelry I came across the problem of how to arrange it so that it was easy to choose what I wanted to use, I'm not a person to put everything in a box in a pile, besides getting everything tangled up you can never find what you want to wear.

The solution I found was to nail a cork board to the wall of the wardrobe where I put several pins and there I hung the necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Items that could not be hung, such as rings, were kept in a drawer on a tray.
