3 in 1 bag

Small bag / purse

Yet another versatile project with several different uses, this time a three-in-one bag. It's a shoulder bag that transforms into an ecobag or backpack and completely made with reused materials, all the elements used were taken from other pieces.

Doing an insect window screen to size

This week's project is a little unusual, a low cost inseto screen made to measure for my window. This way of doing it can be adapted to serve in other windows. I have a sliding window with three panes, each 1.25m wide and 1.30m high that is usually open so a mosquito net is essential.

Upcycling a puffy jacket

I took advantage of the end of the year to look into my wardrobe and remove the clothes I no longer use, I separated them into three categories, to sell, to transform and to use in other projects.

Among the clothes I separated was a puffy jacket, I haven't used for a long time, because it's long and has a hood, two things I don't like, I thought I'd alter it to make it shorter and remove the hood.

From top to a reversible hat

It’s been a while since I had the idea to do a hat to wear in winter, I wanted a deep hat that would cover the whole head including the ears, to protect them from the wind, and with a brim for the sun but also for rainy days, so my glasses don’t get water droplets.

Foldable box carrier

Another one of my crazy but useful ideas, I needed something that allowed me to carry a big box and still have a free hand, this was what I come up with, a foldable fabric carrier.

An old T-shirt turned bag

I've been wanting to try to transform a t-shirt into a bag for some time, and I finally did it, my idea was to make a unisex and reversible bag, I started with a tshirt that had a print on the front and for the other side I used some jeans.

Denim bag with flowers

It shows that I like to make bags, here is another one.

It's a  shoulder bag made with denim from old jeans and cotton fabric and it's padded and lined with cotton fabric.

One side has three flowers sewn to it and the other has two pockets, one with a snap button.

The bag closes with a magnetic button and has a double pocket inside.

Orange Stripes bag

Another bag with reused materials, this time the fabric that was left over from a curtain and jeans from a pair of pants, also the zippers were reused from a bag that was ruined.

Patchwork denim bag

Last week's piece was a shoulder / crossbody patchwork bag made with small strips of denim cut from several jeans. This is a way of using the small denim scraps that are left over from the larger projects.

Extendable supermaket bag

This time I’m sharing my solution to end a situation that you have certainly been through. How many times did you go to the supermarket and when you were in line at the checkout you remember that you left the bags at home?

It was to avoid this that I created this model where I keep all the bags I use when I go to do my supermarket shopping, and which still has pockets to store other things so I don't have to carry a bag.

Two in one backpack

This design was created for me to take on my walks, I needed a small lightweight backpack with enough space for a small water bottle, wallet, phone and keys, but I also wanted something that could be transformed and allowed me to store more things.

My first hat

A good part of my walks is done facing the sun and as the hat I wear has a small brim it doesn't provide enough shade when the sun is low on the horizon, so I started thinking about making a hat with a wide brim.

A basic bag with yellow flowers

On those days when you just have to go out to do an errand and you don't feel like taking a bag but you can't carry everything in your hand either because between your cell phone, keys and wallet there are more things than hands, I made a basic bag to take the essentials, and maybe allows you to carry something back from your errands. And because being basic doesn't mean boring, I applied some denim flowers to it.

A tablecloth that turned into a bag

Another project with reutilization of materials, this time jeans and a strip of fabric from the tablecloth used to make this bag. The flowers were cut from the fabric of the towel and applied to the body of the bag.

A bag that is also a backpack

Today I share one of my favorite things, I love pieces that have multiple uses or can be used in several ways, like this bag that is also a backpack.
